The Hellenic Institute of Advanced Studies (HIAS) is a non-profit, private foundation initiated by the Hellenic diaspora.

HIAS aims to:

• Build scientific bridges between the Hellenic diaspora, international scientists and their peers in Greece
• Lead studies of relevance to the welfare of society
• Foster international collaborations to address problems of societal relevance including Energy, Security, Health, Education, Environment, Inequality, Digitalization
