Building Bridges Between Greece and the World’s Top Universities
Τhanks to the Nicholas and Robert Askounis Ashford scholarship of the Hellenic Institute of Advanced Studies (HIAS), four outstanding Greek students had the opportunity to carry out research internships at MIT, Yale, and Harvard.
- Giannis Papakalodoukas (NTUA) is now preparing for a five-year PhD journey at MIT after working in the lab of Prof. Michael Triantafyllou.
- Spyridoula Giannopoulou (Panteion University) plans a doctoral path in International Relations after her transformative experience at MIT.
- Marios Rozos (NTUA) expanded his research horizons at Yale, working in computational learning theory.
- Christodoulos Komiotis (Democritus University of Thrace) discovered the inseparable link between clinical practice and research during his time at Harvard Medical School.
